2019 Sun Peaks BC Cup #3

Hi all,

This past weekend I attended the 3rd round of the BC cup DH series in Sun Peaks BC. This race has always been one of my favorites because the track is such a blast to ride. I was feeling pretty good on the track throughout practice, and I felt like I was on pace with everybody else. But, when seeding came around, I was way off the pace of the top 3. I had no idea how I was going to improve on my time because I felt like I had ridden the best I could. I just seemed to be struggling with getting off the brakes and committing to some corners. It didn't seem to go my way for the race run either, as I did make up time on my seeding run. But, so did everyone else ahead of me. Overall it was just a frustrating weekend, and I am very motivated to get back home and put in some hard hours on the bike training so that I don't feel this way again.
