Jack is a former Junior competitor with experience racing for teams like Dunbar Cycles, Strand Training RDT with coaching from Yoann Barelli, as well as numerous seasons spent orchestrating his own race programs through individual sponsor procurement.

Some of the brands he has worked with and been supported by in the past include Commencal Bicycles, Fox Head, Fox Suspension, Race Face, Chromag, Maxxis, 100%, Troy Lee Designs, and others.

At the beginning of 2020 Jack was gearing up for a full season of World Cup when the entire season was cut short leaving it extremely risky to attempt any kind of international travel, as well as cancelling all of the Canada Cup series. This left Jack in a tricky position as he was now looking at going into his second year of junior with zero World Cup experience leaving him very unlikely to secure a factory ride for his first year in elite (which was the only financially viable option to make World Cups realistic).

With all that uncertainty looming he decided to switch priorities and pursue post secondary education in Management and Marketing with the goal of combining his knowledge of the industry and racing with business skills obtained at university to return to the sport that he loves so much and make an impact outside of being an athlete.
