2019 Canadian Championship

Hi all,

This past weekend I attended the Canadian National DH Championships in Panorama BC. This race was probably one of the most anticipated, and most important for my 2019 season. This race my goal was to lay it all on the line against the best in the country.  I had mixed feelings on the course, but I felt like I could still have fun on it and go fast. Because of this race being national champs, they did not have seeding for my category. So, this meant I would be heading into finals without knowing how I stacked up against my competitors, or where I needed to improve. That added a whole other element to my preparation. I felt like I was riding well all weekend and was slowly progressing towards feeling confident for the race. Unfortunately I never really found my flow and had a frustratingly conservative run that I was not very happy with. Super excited motivated to race Crankworx in the next few weeks on my favorite home tracks.

My next event will be the Garbanzo DH at Crankworx Whistler
