2018 Vedder Enduro

Stage 1: Felt really solid at the start and was nailing all of my lines but washed out the front end coming out of the clear cut and re-entering the trees. I got up fast tho and finished the stage strong.

Stage 2: This stage was my best stage of the day, I nailed all the corners and lines we talked about in practice and I felt really fast and strong on the pedals/ climbs.

Stage 3: All the way down reefer I felt the fastest I had been all weekend, and I felt like I did a solid effort on the gravel road climb. When we crossed the road where stage four finishes beside, I thought that was the end of stage 3 so I stoped and then had to get going again. Then lower down I washed out in a corner but still managed to keep my momentum and get a solid stage result.

Stage 4: Rode the top section fairly smooth but when I got to the catch berm at the middle section I tried to take a high line into it and ended up going over the berm and went over the bars into a stinging nettle bush. This mistake cost me at least a minute and a half on the stage.

Stage 5: Rode fairly conservative in the corners and in the gnar because I was fairly shaken up after that crash combined with all the climbing. I decided to go flat out on all of the road sections and flat portions to make up time.
